No data protection officer has been appointed: the activity falls into none of the cases where appointment is mandatory.
What we collect, and why
We collect nothing while you browse. Data is only gathered if you write to us or make a booking.
- Enquiry by email or phone — your name, email address or number, and what you write to us. Legal basis: your request itself, that is, pre-contractual steps. Retention: three years after the last exchange.
- Booking — name, email address, telephone, dates of stay, number of guests, and the information needed for payment, processed by the booking provider. Legal basis: performance of the contract. Retention: ten years for accounting records, under French commercial law.
- Server logs — IP address, date, page requested, kept by the host for security and correct operation. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site.
Cookies and trackers
This site uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tool: no Google Analytics, no social network pixel, no ad network. That is why you are shown no consent banner.
The only items stored come from the booking engine and are necessary for the form you are using:
_ldgfy_c6y— a session cookie set by the booking engine, deleted when you close your browser. It lets the form keep track of your search.ref— a value written to your browser's local storage by the same tool, which links a booking to the visit during which it began.
These are strictly necessary for the service you request and are therefore exempt from prior consent. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings; the booking form may then behave unexpectedly.
Who receives your data
Your data is neither sold, rented nor passed on for commercial purposes. It is shared only with the providers needed to deliver the service:
- Lodgify (Codebay Innovation S.L.), Carrer de Pallars 108, 08018 Barcelone, Espagne — booking engine and payment processing.
- Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, États-Unis — website hosting and technical logs. This provider is established outside the European Union; transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. Simply write to contact@lepetitbungalowdescannes.fr: we reply within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr.
